I feel yellow.
I feel a deep cyan.
This green I couldn’t plan.
As I hold it, as I break it’s bones and leave it still in stones.
It grins and wallows.
It sinks into a pile and laughing all the while.
This fickle author writing in rainbow, it’s words oh do they sink.

Speeding along,
this wheat a sea I ride on,
mist a seeping song.
Empty sidewalks.
These gears are all that will talk.
Light streams through a clock.

Encased in light,
I float but I am held so tight by these hands.
Can I trust creatures I know will change so much day to day.
Or put to rest all things I know I cannot test or know for sure.
I will not risk losing my will to make a fist or hold you close.
